“There is nothing to writing.
All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.”
(Ernest Hemingway)
All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.”
(Ernest Hemingway)
On March 20 this year, I published the first article, inaugurating my blog, to face the loneliness and being closed in the house due to the lockdown from Covid-19.
Three months have passed and this is post number 100, with almost 20,000 views.
It all started as a cure not to go crazy without being able to go out and photograph, giving me the goal of writing an article a day.
It's not easy, especially to try to maintain high quality. But the more complicated the challenges, the more stimulating they are.
For this I just want to thank you. Because with your support and comments you made me understand that what I was doing was to your liking.
Moreover, if I wrote only for myself, I would not publish in a blog.
You have to be honest. I write and photograph so that others can enjoy it.

I still feel tenderness to see again this old photograph from 1991: I was 17 years old and I liked to write poetry on small colored little books that also entered the pockets of jackets or trousers.
I have always believed that when ideas come to mind, you have to write them immediately: how many times in bed at night did I tell myself that I would write them the next morning, out of laziness to get up, and then in the morning I had forgotten them in their original form.
At the time, I thought I would write all my life. But at 17, many things are believed.
In the end I am happy to have partially recovered the pleasure of writing; I still prefer what I see, but this blog is like another child to me. My books were difficult children to give birth to, but then they went on alone on their legs.
Blog is a child who needs to be cared for every day, like water for a flower. And if many find this flower colorful, fragrant, beautiful to see and collect, then: thank you!
See you at number 200...
