Noemi, Beauty in Simplicity

Noemi. Villa Borghese. ROME – 4 September 2020

I met Noemi during a photo session in Rome for the Philippine designer Lionell Lanuzo, last July.

We made two photo sessions, in different locations.

I really liked her face, able to move from strong-willed tones to softer, sometimes melancholy shades. Therefore, I asked her to pose for me, for some shots focused on her face, in the beautiful location of Villa Borghese.

I also like her because she is a woman with level head, who knows she is beautiful but as a gift and not as a vaunt.

Her priorities are her son and work.

I tried to work on the shadows and the warm light of the sunset that emphasize the romantic and strong tones of the features of her face and of the gaze.

Caryll Noemi Gamier was born in December 1989 in Malad Calapan City, Mindoro, Philippines.

She arrived in Italy in 2006 and has an 11-year-old son.

She has been working in Piazza di Spagna for a multinational company, the “Alta Care Laboratories” for 7 years now, which takes her around the world for congresses and fairs, to promote derma-cosmetic and pharmaceutical products at an international level.

Noemi, for the photo session, wore the “Delve” jewelry collection created by Evangeline de Sosa.

Evangeline has been friends with Noemi for many years.

Born in Zamboanga City, in the southern Philippines, 35 years ago, she has already lived in Italy for 18 years, and has transformed her passion for jewelry into her work.

Specifically, the jewels were from the “Mademoiselles and Anatomy” series.

Special thanks to Adamo Banelli to be with me for the shooting.

Delve Artisanal Jewelry Art was founded in 2016 by Evangeline de Sosa. DELVE means a profound research, which can be reflected through her creations.
It began as a passion, where she expresses her love for art, fashion and science. Even at the very early stage of her career in jewelry making, she started exhibiting in various galleries in Rome, Italy. And it includes an exhibit at Museum of Modern Arts in Pescara (2018).
A year later, she won the Biennale of MArtelive (Artistic Craftsmanship) in Italy. Her desire to create something unseen and unique, pushed her to have her first solo exhibit: “Human Anatomy” at Galleria Arte in in Rome, Italy.
After her solo exhibit on “Human Anatomy” she decided to dedicate jewels for all the healthcare professionals. She wanted these jewelry pieces to symbolize all the hardship, sacrifices and passion for its profession. These collection reflects her background in bachelor of science in nursing. Her eclectic soul pushed her to put together her passion for art, fashion and science, which we can witness through her works.

  1. Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful...for beauty is the arts of God.

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched...they must be felt by heart.

Everything has beauty...but not everyone sees it...because a lot of what is most beautiful arises from struggle.
